Craigiebuckler, Aberdeen

The existing sun room was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, so the clients brief was to maximise the glazing into the garden, and create better access between the kitchen, living room and garden room.

As keen gardeners they wanted the feeling of sitting outside, whilst retaining the shelter.  This was achieved using a 5m run of bi-folding doors, that open the space fully to the garden. The timber extending wall provides privacy from the neighbours, and provides shelter from the wind.
